By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Nature of Procedure: You understand that the earwax removal procedure — which may include microsuction, manual extraction (curettage), or other clinically appropriate methods — is generally safe but carries some risks.

• Possible Risks: You accept that, while rare, the procedure may result in:

  • Incomplete wax removal

  • Discomfort or pain

  • Temporary hearing changes or blocked sensation

  • Dizziness or vertigo

  • Minor bleeding or irritation

  • Infection (e.g. otitis externa or otitis media)

  • Injury to the ear canal or eardrum, including perforation

• Medical Disclosure: You confirm that all relevant medical history, previous ear surgeries, symptoms (including pain, discharge, or infection), and other relevant health conditions have been disclosed to help ensure your safety and the suitability of treatment.

• Age & Capacity: You confirm that the person receiving treatment is aged 7 years or older, and if you are booking on behalf of someone else, you are their legal parent or guardian and have authority to consent to treatment on their behalf.

• Consent to Treat: You consent to the ear examination and wax removal procedure as determined appropriate by the attending clinician.

• Liability Release: You agree to release the practitioner and clinic from liability for any adverse outcomes associated with the treatment except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct.
